Ali Baba Mola San Blas Panama #638
One of our finest Molas inspired on the story of Ali Baba and the forty thieves.
This Lovely mola was entirely handmade by a Kuna Mola Maker in the San Blas Islands, this panel depicts Morgiana pouring hot oil into the jars in which robbers were hidden, a lot of symmetry, a very fine piece of work, I love the combination of colors, even lines and curves, fine stitching, well made plus this mola is on page #336 of the book The Art of being Kuna.
